This puzzle was made for Confounding Calendar 2024.
Your goal
Cover every square of the puzzle grid with word tiles placed in correct locations to solve the puzzle.
Clue words
The puzzle grid is surrounded by clue words. Each of these clues suggests an association with the word tile side(s) that should touch it in the correct solution.
Word tiles cannot overlap in the solution.
Not all word tiles will be used in the solution.
Only the words on external facing sides have associated clues. Inner words do not have any restriction or associations.
Check your solution
Press the Check button in the top right to check your solution. Correct tiles will turn green, incorrect tiles will be unaffected. The number of times you pressed check is counted in the top left.

I have everything except weed in place with no checks. Im hoping for a first try once I find a good word

Would be nice if the instructions explicitly stated that interior words do not need to associate (the only associations are the ones touching the border).
Oh god I'm so glad I scrolled down and checked the comments. I was so sure I needed to find a way to get all adjacent sides matching.

It would be cool, if the puzzle had new words, every time you played it. Still a good puzzle, though.
